Looking for a low-key night out that offers wholesome home cooked meals at an affordable price. Drop by our cafe and whole food restaurant where we serve up home cooked ethical meats and a huge selection of vegan dishes.
This year our head chef is Col who started his chef career in Jindabyne many years ago, and has since come back to the region to enjoy a relaxing retirement spending many days by the local lakes and rivers fishing. He is assisted by long time staff member Tarlou. Col and Tarlou have a passion for creating tasty vegan dishes along with some great meat dishes. Some of their signature vegan dishes include the Vegan Reuben, BBQ Jackfruit Bao Bun, Mushroom + Ale Pie and for the carnivores Col whips up a great whole local trout and tasty organic chicken roulades.
Expect the menu to be a colourful and vibrant array of flavours and cuisines where there is something to be found for all.
We have a set tapas/entree menu and every-night we offer around 4 different main dishes that range in price from $16-$20 [1 vegan, 1 meat, 1 salad and either a soup or entree]. In winter the specials will be listed on this page everyday along with our restaurant Facebook page [here]
The Après Lounge, nestled within the front lobby and cellar of The Jindy Inn, is the perfect place to unwind with an apéritif, antipasto platter, home-cooked meal or simply a secret hideaway to meet and relax with friends.
The big open fire place and intimate candle-lit setting creates a rustic and warm atmosphere that invites you to sit and unwind as you enjoy a hot beverage, bottle of wine or a homemade bowl of chilli.
We are open to the public and located at The Jindy Inn – 18 Clyde Street.
